Tom L. Stingley joined the law firm of Frascogna Courtney, PLLC in 2000. A native of Jackson, Mississippi, he is a graduate of Jim Hill High School and Jackson State University – B.A. and M.P.P.A. He received his law degree from the Mississippi College School of Law. Mr Stingley’s practice is devoted to litigation of various types and the handling of the legal affairs of commercial transactions. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in various lawsuits. He has successfully negotiated and litigated cases involving the following areas of the law: medical malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, child custody/support, employment law, entertainment law, commercial transactions, real property taxation, municipal tort liability, and constitutional law involving religious societies. He also has extensive experience in state governmental law, having served in the positions of Special Assistant Attorney General, General Counsel for the Mississippi Department of Transportation, and State Senior Attorney prior to coming to Frascogna Courtney, PLLC. A certified mediator by the Mississippi Bar, Mr. Stingley is a member of the Hinds County, Magnolia, and American Bar Associations and the American Association for Justice. He is also a member of the ABA Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He is also a political campaign consultant with campaign management experience. He has presented at seminars and is a member and counsel at the Church of God in Christ, Incorporated, which has headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee.
