Kamel L. King  was born and raised in Jackson, MS.  During college, Kamel was an active member of the pre-law club, along with many other law and entertainment related scholastic clubs.  Excelling through college as a recipient of a full academic scholarship at American University (Washington, D.C.) and Tougaloo College (Jackson, MS), Kamel graduated with honors from Tougaloo College earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations.  Kamel was accepted into Mississippi College School of Law (MSCOL) and was President of the MCSOL Entertainment and Sports Law Club for two years.  While in law school, Kamel managed the careers of several local artists and music producers while studying various intellectual property courses such as trademarks, unfair competition, patent law, copyrights, and consumer law.  Kamel completed his studies at MCSOL in the spring of 2006, successfully passed the Mississippi Bar, and was admitted into the Mississippi State Bar several months later.

Kamel is the Attorney on the Road for the Grammy nominated gospel group, The Williams Brothers.  Kamel is also the Director of Operations of Blackberry Records, owned by The Williams Brothers.  Kamel is the Sales Manager of Terminal Recording Studios, a Jackson, MS based studio that has recorded all of Blackberry’s award winning albums, along with other national recording artists.  Kamel has since been involved with the production of the Grammy endorsed “Celebrating a 50 Year Grammy Legacy” event hosted by Haley Barbour and the 72nd Southern Governor’s Conference.   Kamel now specializes in entertainment and sports law.
